Every August during Belfast’s Harbor Fest,

Come Boating is host to an annual Regatta, with visiting boats and crews coming from all parts of the northeast, and sometimes as far away as the United Kingdom.  For more info, please visit our 2023 Regatta page.

 

Throughout the year, we often participate in invitational races held by rowing organizations in Gloucester, Cape Anne, Boston, Hull and Lake Champlain.

We traditionally reserve Thursday evenings for informal summer-time racing in Belfast Harbor when all are welcome to participate in some friendly competition racing against other CB! members in our pilot gigs.  No special training or advance sign-up is necessary. Just show up and be ready to row hard!

 

The Annual Head of the Tide Race, held in early October, is a fun race with all three boats rowing to the Head of the Tide, and then racing each other down the Passagassawakeag River for home. Sign up and train for this one!
