Row Signup Instructions
Each table cell represents a single row. Follow the steps below to join or initiate a row.
[See Color Code Key below for rower designations]
For a boat to leave the dock, it must have a Cox.
Only rowers who are certified as Cox will be able to sign-up in the Cox slot. Names of coxswain-qualified rowers will appear green in the sign-up.
Note: It’s important to be familiar with the rowing PROTOCOL before signing-up for a row. Each rower will be held responsible for the information contained therein.
To join an EXISTING row:
- Click the “Sign up” checkbox in a Rower slot.
- Click the “Save This Row” button. [You’re name will appear in a PINK box in the row, with a checkbox option to Remove in case you made an error.]
If the Rower slots are full, you may sign-up as an Extra Rower (#1 thru #6) to be in line to fill-in.
To initiate a NEW row:
- Click the ‘add new row’ link under the appropriate boat, and a row with ‘Add New Row’ at the top, and a yellow background will appear. Or, if there are not any rows for that boat on that day yet, then the ‘Add New Row’ box will already be there.
- Fill in the “Row Time” (hh:mm am/pm format).
- Select a “Row Type” from the drop-down menu.
- Click the “Sign up” checkbox in a Rower slot. If you are qualified and would like to cox a row, sign-up in that slot.
- Click the “Save This Row” button. [You’re name will appear in a PINK box in the row, with a checkbox option to Remove in case you made an error.]
To join or initiate another row on a DIFFERENT day:
- Click the red “Sign-up to Row” button at the top of this page.
- Choose another day from the Rowing Calendar.
- Repeat the sign-up procedure as explained above.
